I find that as long as I am eating more and more raw food that I love I can really stay raw. there are some things that you find as you go along that you love and need and really help you to go raw...for me so far things that keep me raw and I need are:
1. grapefruits or another citrus with mineral water
2. 1 litre of green drink in the morning and at night
3. one savoury flax bread and one sweet flax bread
4. some nut cheese spread
5 bananas and avocados, full effect
6, variety of fruits that I love (mangos, japanese pears, guavas, strawberries)
7. box of organic greens
8. one or two AMAZING salad dressings
9. Raw Fu friends and discussions
10 new recipes
the MOST necesary items to KEEP ME RAW for me are #1, 2, 5, 3, 9..and the rest are also important but take a second place. I find that as you eat more raw you find out more and more of what your body must have to stay high raw...so, which list of things that you do keeps you raw ?

The Menu for today : feb 17
hi everyone,
I have eaten pretty well today. I am high raw right now. I just love my beans soooo much and it keeps me full...so I will still have some beans and raw goat cheese every so often...today I found someone who is giving away free Kambucha, which is great. I will go and find some babies to start a small culture. This drink is soooo wonderful. It really helped me with my iiritable bowel 3 years ago. I think you can make it with some very nice teas. looking forward to that again.
today I had:
2 grapefruits with mineral water
a bowl of beans with tomatoes
one quinoa, corn, fax bread slice
dinner:
one HUGE bowl of salad: one carrot, one pieceof broccoli, three bunches of organic greens, 8 almonds, one handgul of currants, one pear, 5 tsp of quinoa dressing: apple cider vinegar, miso, 1/2 lemon, a bit of honey
green juice if I get hungry with celery, apples and carrots

time to start writing a food journal
hello everybody,
I decided to write a food journal of my journey raw today. It will help others to eat more raw food and help me stay accountable. Now that the weather is getting a bit warmer and we are heading into Spring, it will be easier to transition without feeling so cold.
Feb 11
1 pint of celery, carrot, apples, chard and lettuce juice
a bunch of kale and spinach chips with lime and honey
1 banana
one litre of celery, carrot, apples, kale and lettuce juice
apple, avocado, tomato salady...my favourite
banana
I met a friend who has started a a vegetable food co-op with the SFU sustainable development office...good for her...she suggested that I put my name on a list for an $8 bag of local produce at the end of the month ! this is awesome. I feel so much support.
